Accounts Payable Administrator

Pasha Brands is a vertically integrated prohibition-era brand house that is firmly rooted in BC’s craft cannabis industry, which boasts a reputation as the worlds best. Pasha subsidiary, BC Craft Supply Co. Ltd. (a late stage applicant) is driven to assist craft growers in obtaining security clearance and licensing to grow as micro-cultivators, specializing in education and compliance to bring growers into the regulated cannabis supply market.


Our team is looking for an all-star Accounts Payable professional to join our evolving Finance team. Reporting to the Corporate Controller the Accounts Payable Administrator will provide all the financial, administrative and transactional support required for Pasha Brands and its subsidiary companies, which includes, but is not limited to the maintenance of accurate records and files, processing of payments. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • AP transactions (including invoice entry, review, reconciliation and payable initiation)
  • Verify accuracy of information and ensure approvals are valid.
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Assist with Quarterly and Yearly Financial statements preparation and reporting (including assistance during the year-end audit)
  • Perform administrative tasks such as managing/responding to emails in the AP inbox, opening mail by post and maintaining an organized filing system
  • Maintain strong relationships with all departments and vendors to ensure processing of invoices and payments remains timely
  • Handle enquiries and resolve AP-related issues
  • Support the team with process improvement initiatives.
  • Ad-hoc projects as needed

Qualifications and Technical Skills

  • 3+ year of experience/education in a similar role (accounting certificate or diploma would count toward the experience requirements)
  • Experience using Quick books
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Time management and follow-up skills; highly organized and detail oriented
